Hi,

So I wanted to see if I'd get much boost from connecting to my airport extreme's 5 GHz band. However while my Macbook Pro and iPad can see and connect to it, it doesn't even appear in the list of wifi networks on my iPhone 5. I've tried forgetting the 2.4 network and restarting the iPhone, but now I'm all out of ideas...

Update:

I tried standing next to the router and managed to connect to the 5 GHz network. I guess the 5 GHz signal just isn't as strong as 2.4 GHz (which I anticipated, but not nearly to this degree).

Any help will be apprecited.
