Lord Krishna told his father and friends to bring all their offerings meant for the King of Heaven to the Lotus Feet of Giri Govardhan. King Indra got angry and retaliated upon the Brijbasi's. Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill like and umbrella and supported it on His Pinky Finger.
