Gaura Purmina is the appearance anniversary of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486-1534) who is Radha and Krishna combined. On this day, everyone fasts till moonrise, and people visit the temple to see the Deities of the Lord in the temple room.

About the event
ISKCON Hawaii's Celebration of Guara Purnima will begin at 4:30 PM with an Aarti and Kirtan, followed by a class on Lord Caitanya and a Maha Prasadam (Karma-Free and Vegetarian) Feast. All attendees will get a chance to bathe the deities during the 6 PM Abhisheka of Gaura Nitai and get very special mercy!
